Professor Olivia A. T. Frimpong Kwapong, who heads the Digital Youth Village and Centre for Digital Youth Development at the University of Ghana, has twenty-nine years of teaching experience at the basic and tertiary levels of education. Her scholarship revolves around adult and development education, access to non-traditional students, and technology-mediated learning. She studied as a special doctoral candidate at Harvard University and served as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Bloomsburg University in the United States of America.

Professor Kwapong has a decade of experience in tertiary education administration. She has also served as the chairperson of the board of Graphic Communications Group, the leading newspaper in Ghana; the Ghana News Agency; and the Presbyterian Women’s College of Education.

She has consulted for the World Bank and other governmental and non-governmental organisations, and she has a passion for youth development.
